First new piece of the week comin at you from Ricky Linn, who was introduced to me by Timothy J. Reynolds! Ricky’s piece explores the growth of Gomez’s village that could have happened between FEZ 1 and its cancelled sequel.
What I love about this piece besides its beautifully bright colors is the little touches that he added all over: a tire swing and some benches, the telescope and the pier. And the signs are fantastic too (especially now that I’ve inadvertently internalized the FEZ alphabet and numbering system while working on the zine). Zoom in for more macro-awesomeness!
And also, I have eight more pieces (nine if you include my upcoming piece) left to show for the zine so I’ll be posting them every other day now. Keep your eyes peeled for more to come!!
Hey check it out, I did a thing for FEZ! Scratch one off the bucket list. Big thanks to Kevin and Tim for allowing me to send something in since I kind of crashed my way into the party.
